West London rising star Unflirt has dropped the new single and video, ‘Someday’. It’s a heart-on-sleeve track that places emotive melodies over a delightfully syncopated folk-adjacent arrangement that lets bright guitars jangle above a thick bass drum and punchy snare. She explains that the track is “about the struggles and feelings that come with being in a long-distance relationship. I wrote it thinking about those first moments after I dropped my boyfriend off at the airport, and it was honestly the most gut-wrenching horrible time ever. Writing the song I guess helped console me in a way.” ‘Someday’ is the first single to be taken from Unflirt’s second EP, April’s Nectar, which drops on November 29th, 2023. -Dan Peeke
